Intersection of E. Spooner Road and N. Santa Monica Blvd - Mill and remove 4-inch asphalt surface - approximately 520 SY
- HMA pavement approximately 130 Ton
- Installation of approximately 40 feet of 3x9 - foot precast concrete box culvert
- Cast-in-place concrete stamped (form liner) headwalls and concrete pads
- Relay of approximately 100 L.F. of 6-inch PVC water main by open-cut trench installation
- Installation of approximately 20 L.F. of 16-inch steel casing pipe (in trench) 8308 N. Santa Monica Blvd. - Vicinity of UP Rail Road - Cast-in-place reinforced concrete headwall
- 24' Nyloplast drain basin and 15' inline drain Alternate Bid 1 - Intersection of E. Spooner Road and N. Santa Monica Blvd. Installation of approximately 80 L.F. (40 L.F.x2) of 38'x 60' precast concrete elliptical cross culvert Award Date: Anticipated award date is March 10, 2020. The selected Contractor may begin work only after the Village has issued him a Notice to Proceed. The anticipated project start date is April 2020. The selected Contractor must complete all work Not Later Than 60 days after the date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bid Guarantee - Only those bids that are accompanied by a Bid Bond or unqualified certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid will be considered. The Bid Bond or certified check serves as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the Agreement and a 100% Performance Bond and Payment Bond within fifteen (15) days after the Notice of Award. In case the bidder fails to file such contract and bond within the time set forth, the certified check or Bid Bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. The Village of Fox Point reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept any bid most advantageous to it, or waive any technicality.
