Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Penn Valley, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition; excavation; replacement of approximately 3,200 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer forcemain under Hollow Road and Sprague Road; concrete encasement of forcemain at selective sections; trench restoration; temporary and permanent roadway restoration; maintenance and protection of pedestrians and vehicular traffic; connection to the existing forcemain; replacement of bypass connection; replacement of surge relief valve and installation of new flow meter inside the pump station; approximately 1,000 linear feet of cured-in-place lining of 8-inch gravity sewer main under Sprague Road; coordination with utility companies; and temporary wastewater bypass measures to facilitate the work.. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty as specified in the Instructions to Bidders section of the Bid Document. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of 100% are required. Also, a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 25% is required. The last day for receipt of written questions is end of business day of Friday, January 31, 2020. 10.Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents must be paid on this project, and that the contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for the employment are not discriminated against because of their, race, color, religious creed, ancestry, age, sex, national origin, physical or mental disability
