Each bid shall be either hand delivered by the bidder or his agent, or such bid shall be sent by United States Postal Service registered or certified mail with a return receipt requested, or shall be submitted electronically with Central Auction House (CAH).Bids shall not be accepted or taken, including receiving any hand delivered bids, on days which are recognized as holidays by the United States Postal Service. Project Name:Power Plant Inverter, Chiller Replacement, and HVAC Improvements Project No:18-ELECTGEN-72 Replace three (3) existing inverters with a new Redundant Inverter System. Provide a DC Paralleling Panel to combine the two (2)existing DC Battery Systems into one (1) system for DC power to the new Redundant Inverter System.Provide panel boards and transformers to provide AC power to the new Redundant Inverter System. Replace the existing HVAC and Exhaust Systems in the existing Battery Room. Provide a new HVAC System in the Inverter Room. Replace the existing Chilled Water Pump, Chiller, and controls for the HVAC System on the Second and Third Floors of the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government Power Generating Station.Add circuit breakers to existing Units 15 and 16 MCCs. Bids must be submitted on the Louisiana Uniform Public Works Bid Form furnished with the Bidding Documents. A single set of Bidding Documents shall be issued at the cost of reproduction to contractors who are licensed by the Licensing Board of Contractors.
