Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Work on each improvement shall be commenced upon approval of the contract by the Council, and completed as stated below. This project shall be fully completed no later than August 1, 2020, and in accordance with the Completion Provisions. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. By virtue of statutory authority, preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the State of Iowa, and to Iowa domestic labor, to the extent lawfully required under Iowa statutes. The bidder should not include sales tax in the bid. A sales tax exemption certificate will be available for all material purchased for incorporation in the project. The improvement includes Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) full depth patches, curb & gutter, sidewalk, driveways, milling, Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) overlay, modified subbase, subdrain, storm sewer installation, storm sewer intakes, pavement markings, traffic control, seeding, miscellaneous associated work including cleanup and restoration; all in accordance with the contract documents, including Plan File Nos. 615-110/163, located at Hubbell Avenue between E. 18th Street and Easton Boulevard, Des Moines, Iowa.
