PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for Replace Mechanical Systems Building 1 at VA Medical Center in Fresno CA as required by drawings and specifications. Replacement of Air Handling Units 9 and 10. Work includes all general, architectural, structural, mechanical, BAS controls, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection equipment and supervision to perform the required construction work on this project including installation of temporary ductwork, phased removal of existing air handling units, installation of new air handling units, replacement of louvers and windows, and other work as indicated in the contract documents. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation.
