General description of work:- 1. Without intending to limit or restrict the extent of WORK required under this PROJECT, the WORK is generally comprised of the following: The replacement of two existing cast-iron boilers and associated piping, breeching, wiring and controls. 2. It is the responsibility of each bidder to visit the site and become acquainted with the conditions of the work involved. 3. It is the responsibility of the contractor being awarded the project to obtain and pay for all required permits for the job. These shall be submitted to the District for reimbursement as a change-order with no mark-up.
