Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Danville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Pavement, drainage, curb and gutter, sidewalk, storm sewers, and other improvements required to complete the realignment and reconstruction of the intersection of Jackson St. and Voorhees St. in Danville, IL. Pre-Qualification: Yes This contract shall consist of widening and resurfacing Voorhees Street to provide a 36' width roadway. The existing hot-mix asphalt surface will be milled at a variable depth to correct the roadway crown. The existing concrete curb and gutter will be removed and proposed hot-mix asphalt widening and concrete curb and gutter will be constructed. Hot-mix asphalt binder and surface course will be constructed over the milled existing pavement and the newly constructed widening. The intersection of Voorhees Street and Jackson Street will be improved, with widening and curb and gutter constructed. Jackson Street will be improved with variable depth hot-mix asphalt surface removal and hot-mix asphalt surface course and proposed concrete curb and gutter. Also included is sidewalk removal and replacement, storm sewer improvements, manhole/utility/inlet adjustments, pavement marking, and other related work. This project has the following goals: BEP Participation Goal: 20% Minority Business Participation Goal: 15% Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) Goal: 5%
