Site work and paving for a road / highway in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The intersection of Highland Rd and Siegen Ln is included in the program for additional capacity. A design study will be completed to identify alternatives to increase capacity and then upon approval, an alternative will be designed and constructed. The MOVEBR Transportation and Infrastructure Improvements Program is the most significant transportation infrastructure investment in East Baton Rouge Parish history. The 1/2 cent sales tax proposition was approved by the voters of East Baton Rouge Parish on December 8, 2018. The tax became effective on April 1, 2019 and will continue for 30 years until March 31, 2049. As of November 19, 2024, this project is in design. Design is 90% completed.
