Site work for a mixed-use development in San Jose, California. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Project scope includes but is not limited to construction of the second phase, which stretches from the Berryessa station through Downtown San Jose and into Santa Clara, finishes the remaining six miles and connects services to four additional stations that will be built. Phase II includes 28th Street/ Little Portugal Station, Downtown San Jose Station, Diridon Station, Santa Clara Station. The entire phase II expansion project spans six miles from the Berryessa Transit Center to the Santa Clara Station. trades for DBE/SBE Opportunities include but are not limited to: Trucking - Off-haul and Disposal, Hazardous Material Soil Testing, Fencing, Noise and Vibration Monitoring, Certified Industrial Hygienists and Air Monitoring. As of June 10, 2025, the awarded Design Builder, Kiewit Shae Traylor JV, is encouraging interested parties to visit https://kstjv.com/contracting-opps and fill out forms to become registered as a potential subcontractor. Site preparation began July 2024. Early construction work is now underway. This project will continue for approximately 10 years.
