The park will feature custom playground equipment designed and supplied by Earthscape. The City intends to award a single contract as a result of this RFP. The contract term for this Project will be approximately 18 months, or until park is constructed and permits are closed. The project has an estimated total construction cost of $10,500,000. Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) Prevailing Wage Rate requirements will apply on early work or construction performed as part of this project a) Describe how you would, if contracted, monitor and ensure that the project scope is maximized and that the Citys construction budget is not exceeded. b) Identify the estimating and scheduling systems and management techniques your firm utilizes to achieve success on projects like this one. c) The City strongly prefers that the CMGC hold the Fabrication Contract with Earthscape as described in II. F. a). Please confirm that if awarded Construction Services (Early Work or other construction) you will contract directly with Earthscape for fabrication and supply of the Earthscape product.
