Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Jamison, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Contract will generally include the overlay of 12 Township roadways (or portions) - 65,730 SY/6,130 Ton. This portion of the Contract will also include 562 L.F. of concrete curb replacements, 56 L.F. of Belgian block curb replacements, 100 L.F. of bituminous curb replacements, 4,455 S.F. of concrete sidewalk replacements, 90 L.F. of concrete cheek wall, 296 S.F. truncated dome inserts, 4,475 S.Y. of pavement repair, 11,210 curbline/intersection driveway milling, 34,850 S.Y. full-width milling (1-1/2 inch depth), 619 Gal. rubberized crack seal, 12,160 S.Y. bituminous surface treatment, 12,160 S.Y. of Polymer Modified Fog Seal, 960 Tons of leveling/scratch course, the replacement of all pavement markings as detailed in Section VIII of the Specifications, 1 Type E-S endwall, 60 L.F. of 18 in. HDPE storm sewer and the flushing of existing storm sewer. The Base Contract will also include the overlay of a portion of the Public Works Facility located at 2045 Guinea Lane (5,425 S.Y./565 tons). The work also includes 100 SY of pavement repair, 5,425 S.Y. full-width milling (1-1/2 inch depth), 20 tons leveling/scratch course and the replacement of all pavement markings. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount for the work detailed in Attachment #1. This project is subject to the terms and conditions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as determined by the Secretary of Labor and Industry and, therefore, must be bid as such. The project is subject to the terms of the Public Works Employment Verification Act (Act 127 of 2012). Completed and signed "Public Works Employment Verification Form" is required as a precondition to the award of the Contract and is to be submitted as part of the submission of the bid. Clarification Deadline: 2/7/2020 4:00 PM. The successful bidder will be required to furnish separate bonds with corporate surety issued by companies authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on the prescribed forms dated the date of the Contract, or separate Federal or Commonwealth chartered lending institution irrevocable letters of credit in a form accepted and approved by the Township, each CKS Enlorcinune hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, to secure (a) the faithful performance and maintenance of the Contract; and (b) the prompt payment of materials and labor. Bids must be accompanied by an executed Non-Collusion Affidavit as set forth in the Contract Documents. Failure to submit an Affidavit with the bid proposal may result in disqualification of the bid. The Award of the Contract, if a contract is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, as described in the Instructions to Bidders' Section of the Contract Documents, but the Township reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. The Township also reserves the right to delete any "item" or portion of an "item" contained in the Contract at its discretion, once bids are received. Prior to awarding the Contract, bids may be held by the Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders. During this period, no bid may be withdrawn. Warwick Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
