The Scope of Work will include: Furnishing and installing and providing all labor and materials required concrete sidewalk, concrete driveways, drainage improvements, pipe culverts, site grading, erosion and sedimentation control, and other items, as more fully described in the Construction Plans and Project Specifi cations. Bids not accompanied by cashiers check or bid bond will not be considered. BIDS received after the date and time of the bid opening will be returned unopened. After receipt of BIDS, no BID may be withdrawn within ninety (90) days after the date of bid opening. City of Liberty Hill reserves the right to reject any or all BIDS and to waive any informality in BIDS received. Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certifi ed check or bank draft payable to the City of Liberty Hill or negotiable US Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of bid bond. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federal determined prevailing (Davis- Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the US Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project.
