Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Marine on Saint Croix, Minnesota. Design plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.

The project scope includes planning and design for improvements identified in the master plan at Big Marine Park Reserve. The improvements may include water access and trail improvements. This project is included in the city's 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of January 3, 2023, a design team has been selected. If you are interested in submitting a proposal for this service you must email Ryan Hoefs, Project Manager, indicating your interest and your contact person by August 26, 2022. Washington County reserves the right to disregard questions received after 4:00 PM on August 26, 2022. If a question pertains to a clarification of this RFP, the question and answer will be forwarded to all Engineers who expressed interest in submitting a proposal. A copy of all written questions submitted, with responses, will be distributed to interested Engineers no later than 4:00 PM on August 31, 2022. The project work will commence upon selection of the Engineer and after award of a contract. The Engineer will prepare a project schedule based on a construction completion date of no later than December 31, 2023 The County reserves the right to waive any minor irregularities in the proposal request process. The County reserves the right to interview any, all, or none of the respondents at its discretion. The County shall not be liable for any expenses incurred by the Engineer including but not limited to expenses associated with the preparation of the proposal. Prospective Engineers should thoroughly read the CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS attached hereto (Appendix A) as the Engineer to whom the contract is awarded shall be required to comply with the terms and conditions contained therein. It is anticipated the evaluation will be completed by September 19, 2022.
