Saving Project...

Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,000,000-square-foot, 12-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Project consists of four multi-story office buildings with a central open Town Square plaza between the buildings. Two buildings will be connected by a three-story bridge. A second-story timber bridge will link the Town Square from east to west. Other amenities include a Green Pathway throughout the site, buildings will feature zero-net energy and zero-net carbon usage. As of September 2020, demolition of existing structures and site work commenced August 2020. A design build team has been awarded earlier in 2020. As of January 22, 2021, the project is approximately 60% bought out with MEP, structural steel, glazing and concrete contracts in place. Remaining flooring, drywall, roofing, etc will be advertised spring 2021. Bidding information will not be shared with planrooms.
