Site work and paving for a road / highway in Colwich, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project consists of surfacing improvements for several City of Colwich streets to include 57,207 square yards of scrub sealing, 12,074 square yards of fog sealing, 1,555 square yards of asphalt pavement patching, 3,220 linear feet of mastic pavement repair, and 1,375 linear feet of thermal crack repair. Alternates include an additional 45,133 square yards of fog sealing and 8,541 square yards of scrub/fog sealing.Bidders on the work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications.Bidders on this work, including subcontractors or vendors, will be required to comply with the Kansas Act Against Discrimination (K.S.A. 44-1001 et. seq.) and the Kansas Age Discrimination in Employment Act (K.S.A. 44-1111 et. seq.).
