Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Welland, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Town of Pelham is requesting the contracting services of a qualified contractor for the purpose of repairing and replacing of aging underground infrastructure (where required), improving drainage and storm sewer systems, making improvements to the existing road platform (including the complete urbanization of the road cross section), making improvements to the existing roadway lighting system, reviewing the requirement for signalized intersections and pedestrian crossings, making improvements to the landscaping features and possible streetscaping opportunities along Pelham Street and providing a roadway cross section that supports all modes of transportation including the safe and reliable movement of pedestrian and cyclists. The age and condition of the infrastructure has prompted the need for replacement. The works are to proceed continuously to the completion and complete all the work within one hundred (100) working days. The work is to be 75% complete by December 18th, 2020 except for surface reinstatements which are to be completed by June 25th, 2021.
