The West Balzac Servicing Project will include the extension of potable water and sanitary sewer servicing from the County’s existing East Rocky View Water and Sanitary Systems to service future development in Section 13-26-01-W5M in West Balzac. The project will see three (3) pressure pipelines navigate crossing of County roads, provincial highways, private properties, Nose Creek and the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks. The project will be tendered in phases based on land acquisition and traffic management opportunities over the next 12 months. The County invites all experienced and qualified general contractors to submit a prequalification for the construction of civil components of the servicing strategy. The County is currently concluding landowner negotiations and intends to advance segments of the project quickly to take advantage of low traffic conditions expected through spring and early summer.
