Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Whittier, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
For specific information on the project, please contact Civil Engineering Assistant, Alfredo Hernandez, at (562) 567-9500 or ahernandez@cityofwhittier.org The work consists of providing improvements to the newly acquired property adjacent to the existing Lee Owens Park and renovating the existing park. Work includes but not limited to: removing the existing splash pad, provide a new splash pad with a recirculating water quality system, replace the existing play equipment, provide walkways, seat walls, new exercise equipment, wrought iron fencing, block walls, lighting, landscape, irrigation, construct a block structure with a roof to enclose the splash pad equipment in accordance with the project specifications as specified hereinafter forthe Cit of Whittier, Los Angeles County, State of California, and in accordance with the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (The Greenbook), 2018 Edition. All improvements shall meet the Health Department and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Federal requirements. Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, tools, materials, appliances, and equipment to complete the project. Contractor required to pull both a Building permit from the City of Whittier and permit from the Health Department (plans have been approved by the Health Department). All questions or requested clarifications : February 21, 2020 by 4:00 PM.
