Renovation of an educational facility in Saint Augustine Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

**As of March 24, 2020, project will be awarded on April 14, 2020 to CP Enterprises for a total amount of $61,926.80 The St. Johns County School District is requesting bid pricing from qualified providers for upgrades and repairs to an existing Greenhouse at First Coast Technical College. A. ROOFS 1. Remove and discard all remaining corrugated panels and all rows of purlins. Metal purlins will be saved for use in other service areas or recycled. 2. Install five (5) new rows of 1.3" diameter pipe purlins under bows with crisscross connectors in each bay. One row to be ridge purlin and the remaining rows will be equidistant from ridge to gutter. Bows will be re-set plumb during this process and cable bracing will be added to each end of each bay 3. Single base poly-lok to be added to gutters for purpose of poly attachment. 4. Double base wall will be installed over end bows as a gable extrusion for poly and future shade cloth attachment. 5. One (1) inflation blower will be installed in each bay (total 2). 6. Double clear 6 mil poly will be installed on each bay and connected to the inflation blower. B. SIDE WALLS 1. Remove and discard all remaining corrugated panels and all rows of girts. Metal girts will be saved for possible use in other service areas or recycled. 2. Install saved metal girts/purlins to form a header from the gutter to just below the deadman braces. Header will run approximately 12" in height and run the 96' length and will be covered with clear corrugated polycarbonate. Install single base poly-lok for the purpose of holding the roll up curtain material. The purpose of the header is for the attachment of the curtain material below the braces so the curtain material will not be split at each brace location. 3. 12" x 96' knee wall installed using saved girt/purlin materials and will be covered with clear corrugated polycarbonate. The purpose of the knee wall is to provide a level surface for the curtain to seal to when in the closed position. 4. Install two (2) center drive curtains on each side wall approximately 7' x 48'. The curtains will be manually driven from the center of the wall. The curtains will have a center drive pipe as well as a bottom weight pipe. 5. Build and install corner pockets at the corners of the greenhouse to contain the nondriven ends of the curtains. 6. Build and install baffle/pocket over the drive ends of the curtains while leaving access to the gear box. 7. Seals/door hair will be used to close of voids for curtain travel. 8. Girts/Purlins to be installed vertically between header and knee wall at various locations for curtain retainers on exterior. 9. Greenhouse columns will act as interior retainers. C. End Walls (Includes Fans) 1. Remove all existing panels, fans, cooling system, sliding doors, etc. from end walls. 2. Reframe end wall gables for one 42" exhaust fan in each gable. 3. Re-frame below the gables for the purpose of a roll up curtain on each side of the door. 4. Install new clear corrugated polycarbonate on all gables. 5. Install new 42" aluminum slope wall fan in each gable. Fans will be single speed, single phase 115/230v 1/2 hp that will be assembled and tested. 6. Re-install/adjust doors and install new clear polycarbonate on doors and slide areas. 7. Install 12" knee walls from corners to door areas, similar to the sides. Install two (2) curtains on each end of the greenhouse. Curtains will be center drive with a bottom weight pipe. 8. Install gear box located at the greenhouse corners for each curtain. Pockets will be built at the door areas to contain the non-drive end of the curtains while baffles/pockets will be on the corners at the gear box locations. 9. Girts/Purlins will be installed vertically interior and exterior for curtain retainers. D. Interior 1. Supply and install twelve (12) 20" HAF Fans to move the air.
