Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Round Lake Beach, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; water / sewer project; and for paving for a road / highway.

Work will include site preparation, construction fencing, temporary soil erosion and sediment control measures, site removals and clearing, earthwork, excavation, and grading; storm sewer utilities, water service utilities, electrical utilities, cast-in-place concrete, splash pad, fitness equipment, shade structures, tennis/pickleball court fencing & gates, bocce court, asphalt paving, concrete paving, tree, shrub, native and turf seeding. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Round Lake Area Park District. The Round Lake Area Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Round Lake Area Park District. The Round Lake Area Park District encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
