Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Bismarck, North Dakota. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

After an evaluation and selection process the results will be presented to the County Commission on Monday, January 4, 2021, beginning approximately at 5:00 PM (Local Time), in the Tom Baker room of the City/County building for their approval. The project will include the Construction Engineering for the reconstruction of Bridge 08-110-21.1 and Bridge 08-123-18.0 under the North Dakota State Bridge Bundling Grant Project. Work to be performed by Consultant includes: Inspection, Survey, Materials Testing, Coordination, and measuring and computing pay quantities. The will be constructed in accordance with all North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and Burleigh County standards. The selected firms shall provide a Registered Engineer to directly supervise all the projects as required by Title 28 of the North Dakota Administrative Code. The selected firm will prepare the required engineering and administrative documents and records as required by the NDDOT. The selected firm shall provide a work force adequate to perform the work necessary to meet the Contractors work schedule. Late proposals will be considered unresponsive and will not be considered. Selection will be on the basis of the following criteria: 1) Recent, current, and projected workloads of firms staff 2) Staff experience and technical capabilities 3) Related experience and performance on similar projects 4) Willingness to meet time and budgetary requirements Proposals should be limited to 7 (seven) pages; additional information may be placed in Appendixes. Consulting firm should also include a copy of their 2021 fee schedule. Fee schedule will not be used in the basis of selection. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals; to waive technicalities or to accept such as may be determined to be in the best interest of the County. The contents of all proposals will be subject to the Open Records Law and may be open to inspection by interested parties. Any information included in the proposal that the proposing party believes to be a trade secret or proprietary information must be clearly identified in the proposal.
