Site work for a power facility in St. Albert, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a power facility.
To prepare and submit a design-build package for the Solar Photovoltaics (PV) project located at the Jack Kraft (Public Works) Site, primarily on the Sand Storage Building with availability on the Jack Kraft Building if necessary. The successful bidder will be responsible for the preliminary and detailed design, provision of a viable and cost-effective design for the construction, complete building of all components of the solar array, provision of project management service for the duration of the project, complete commissioning of all components and provide post construction support as indicated in General Scope of Work. The successful bidder will also be responsible for the engineered design and installation of a fall protection anchor system on the Sand Storage Building. Bidders objective is to design and install a solar PV system which maximizes the amount of renewable electricity from solar energy that can be produced primarily on the roof of the Sand Storage Building, with availability on the Jack Kraft Building roof if necessary, for the available budget, in the most cost effective and aesthetic way possible. The roof of the Sand Storage Building is the preferred location for the solar PV array, but the roof of the Jack Kraft Building may also be used if additional space is required.
