Site work, asbestos abatement and renovation of a military facility in Edwards, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

The basic scope entails but is not limited to the following: Repair restrooms, remediate lead, and asbestos, remove and replace fire suppression/fire alarm system, remove and replace drop ceiling, replace lighting, and remove and replace HVAC ducting system for Building 2670. The estimated magnitude of construction is $5,000,000 - $10,000,000. A complete design (drawings and specifications) are included. This project may be delayed, revised or canceled at any time during the solicitation, negotiation and/or final award process. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. TASK NO. FA930118FB056 Renovate and improve building 2670 at edwards afb and the Surrounding site. Building 2670 is approximately 12,000 Square feet. Renovation will include (but not limited to) the Repair, replacement and/or reconfiguration of the Following: O site utilities (wet and dry) O sewer manhole (s) O mechanical system (including outdoor chiller) and Related controls O plumbing system O fire protection (fire sprinkler and fire alarm) O transformer and electrical system O communication and low voltage O interior walls, ceiling and finishes O site signage and interior signage O roof repair (including mitigation of roof leakage) Improvements will include (but not limited to) the following: O new roof access ladder O fall protection anchors O lightning protection Hazardous material (asbestos and lead) are known to be Present in the building and will require its removal in Accordance of federal, state and local rules and Regulations. Design-build seismic upgrade. Contractor may elect to use The attached seismic study as a reference.
