*This project was originally scheduled to bid on April 1, 2020. Project includes mass grading of a 57.6-acre site, located along S Thompson Rd, south of Main St, in the City of Sun Prairie, Dane County, Wisconsin (52.2-acres of this mass grading project is located at the southwest quadrant of Main St / S Thompson Rd intersection and 5.39-acres of this mass grading project is located at the southeast quadrant of the Main St / S Thompson Rd intersection). Mass grading includes grading of one regional detention pond (11.6-acres), one regional dry pond (5.4-acres), and the remaining developable land. Project also includes installation of 488-LF 60-Inch RCP Storm Sewer, 3-EA 120-Inch Concrete Storm Manholes, 1,232-LF 21-Inch Sanitary Sewer Interceptor, 4-EA 60-Inch Sanitary Sewer Manholes, in addition to approximately 720-LF RCP Storm Sewer, ranging from 12-Inch to 42-Inch. Dewatering will be required. The successful bidder shall be required to conform to all Federal and State OSHA requirements as well as to the extent necessary to comply with all Davis-Bacon and/or Wisconsin Prevailing Wage laws. The City of Sun Prairie reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding process. Bids may be held by the City of Sun Prairie for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the bid opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
