Site work for a water / sewer project in Cypress, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Obtained and reviewed reports pertinent to the existing channel facilities. Performed thirteen (13) soil borings of up to a depth of sixty (60) feet to evaluate the subsurface soil and groundwater conditions. Soil borings were drilled with a truck mounted drilling rig and sampled in accordance with Parts 3 and 4 of the latest HCFCD Geotechnical Guidelines manual, Appendix-D, Policy Criteria and Procedure Manual (PCPM). All soil borings were sampled continuously to a depth of 20 feet and at five foot intervals thereafter; all borings were backfilled with soil cuttings after the 24-hour water level measurements were taken. Performed appropriate laboratory tests on soil samples retrieved from the soil borings in accordance in with the latest version of the HCFCD Geotechnical Guidelines Manual-Part 4, Appendix-D, PCPM. Prepared a geotechnical report summarizing the results of our field investigation, laboratory testing and geotechnical analysis, and recommendations for the specific tasks of the planned improvements in the format as required by Part 6 of the HCFCD "Geotechnical Investigation Guidelines" dated December 21, 2011. Submitted a draft for review and a final report incorporating the review comments as appropriate
