Portland Public Schools, School District No.1J, Multnomah County, Oregon ("District") seeks responses from qualified Bidders interested in submitting a Bid for expansion of room 019 at Chavez School. Engineer's Project Estimate: 120,000.00 Scope Of Work. Remove (e) cmu walls enclosing former office at northwest corner of classroom b-1022. Coordinate removal Of electrical system elements in (e) cmu walls. Remove casework in former office space. Remove (e) door-sidelite unit between classroom b-1022 and lower corridor b-1021. Repair wall at new opening. Selective demolition of ceiling grid to accommodate (n) wall between classroom a and b. Installation of new Grid following construction of wall. Extend (n)walls to underside of (e) concrete floor structure above. Provide 1-hr rated construction at wall Separating classroom b-1022 space and lower corridor b-1021. Relocate (replace) light fixtures and hvac system elements as required to accommodate new wall. Provide (n) Light fixtures as required. Repair flooring (concrete substrate) as required to match existing at areas of demolition. Install vct floor tile throughout. Rework power and data (low-voltage wiring) as required. Repair (unfinished ends of) casework as required at several locations in the room. Install three new doors and associated hardware. Install/relocate exit signage as required. Demarcate egress path w/vct pattern on floor through classroom b.
