Scope of Work: Project Base Bid Consists of the New Construction of a 6,736 Square Foot Pre-engineered Metal Building Facility. Site Work to Include Earthwork, Paving, Sidewalks, Parking, Site Utilities, Storm Drainage, and Landscaping. Building Construction to Include Structural Slab on Void Foundation, Pre-engineered Metal Building Components, Interior Metal Framing, Brick Masonry, Fiber Cement Siding, Metal Siding, Standing Seam Metal Roof, Storefront Windows & Entry Doors, Hollow Metal & Wood Doors, Hardware, Acoustical Tile & Gypsum Board Ceilings, Flooring, Painting, Millwork, Fire Suppression, Mechanical Systems, Plumbing Systems, and Electrical Systems. Failure of Any Bidder to Receive Any Such Addendum or Interpretations Shall Not Relieve Such Bidder From Any Obligation Under His Bid as Submitted. All Addenda So Issued Shall Become Part of the Contract Documents. The Following Cash Allowance is Included for Contingencies: One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars $ 150,000.00 Bidder Must Agree to Commence Work on or Before a Date to Be Specified in a Written "Notice to Proceed" of the Owner and to Fully Complete the Project in 365 Consecutive Calendar Days. Bidder Must Agree Also to Pay as Liquidated Damages, the Sum of $500.00 for Each Consecutive Calendar Day Thereafter That the Work Has Not Reached Substantial Completion as Hereinafter Provided in the General Conditions. The Performance Bond shall cover 100% of the contract sum; the Payment Bond shall cover 100% of the contract sum. Each proposal shall remain in force until 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
