Site work, paving and renovation of a civil project in Page, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

As of April 3, 2020 the project is not yet awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The construction work contemplated in this project includes, but is not limited to, the following principal features: Construction of new water mains, water service lines and connections, removal and replacement of 113 existing water meters, water treatment plant improvements including new valves, controls, and flow meters, municipal well improvements including controls and a diesel fueled standby generator, electrical work, paving removal and replacement, and related and required work as shown on the Drawings and as required in the Specifications. The Bid shall be an aggregate bid on all Work to be performed, on the Project. Details of construction, materials to be used, and methods of installation of the Work are given in the Drawings and Project Manual. A Contract will be awarded to the low, responsive, responsible Bidder, based on the aggregate bid for the Work and construction time schedule. Each Bid shall be accompanied in a separate sealed envelope by a certified check drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Nebraska, or Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent of the Bidders maximum Bid Price, and shall be made payable to the Village of Page, Nebraska, as security that the Bidder to whom the Contract will be awarded will enter into a Contract to build the improvements in accordance with this notice, and give bond in the sum as hereinafter provided for construction of the improvements. Checks and bonds accompanying Bids not accepted shall be returned to the Bidder in accordance with the terms contained in the Instructions to Bidders. No Bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of Bids without consent of the Village of Page, Nebraska, for a period of 60 days after the scheduled time of opening Bids. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the sum of the full amount of the Contract. Said bonds, to be executed by a responsible corporate surety, shall guarantee: the faithful performance of the Contract; the terms and conditions therein contained; and payment for all labor and materials used in connection with the Work. The proposed Work is being undertaken and accomplished by the Village of Page, Nebraska, under and in accordance with the terms and conditions of grant and/or loan agreements entered into between the Village of Page, Nebraska and the United States Department of Agriculture - Rural Development Agency, which will provide partial funding for the project. The Village of Page, Nebraska, notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any Contract entered into pursuant to this Advertisement, minority and local small business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit a Bid in response to this Advertisement and will not be discriminated against on any grounds, including those of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award. Nondiscrimination in employment shall be enforced on this Project. Bidders will be required to comply with the Presidents Executive Order No. 11246. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under this order are explained in this Project Manual. To demonstrate Bidder's qualifications to perform the Work, after submitting its Bid and within 7 days of Owner's request, Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instruction to Bidders. The Village of Page, Nebraska, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities in bidding.
