LOCATION OF THE WORK: This project Is- located in Section 5 and 8 of Township IN, Range 7E & Section 32 of Township 2N, Range 7E within Maricopa County, Arizona as shown on plans. Palm Lane is located north of McDowell Road. The Project Length is approximately 3/4 miles from Hawes Road to the east and 78th street on the west along Palm Lane All CONSTRUCTION WORK on this contract is to be completed within one hundred fifty (150) CALENDAR DAYS beginning with the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Exclusive of and following the contract time allowed for construction work, is within ninety (90) CALENDAR DAYS for internal administrative purposes thereby resulting in a total contract performance period of within two hundred forty (240). As a guarantee that the contractor will enter into a contract, each bid shall be accompanied by a surety bond, certified check, cashier's check, or money order. The bid security amount shall be 10 percent of the contractors bid, made payable to the TREASURER OF MARICOPA COUNTY as a guarantee that if the work is awarded to the bidder, the bidder will, within ten days from the date of Notice of Award, enter into proper contract and bond condition for the faithful performance of the work, otherwise, said amount may be forfeited to the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS as liquidated damages.
