Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Atascadero, California. Working plans call for the construction of a swimming pool.
Atascadero Unified School District seeks to contract with an architectural/engineering team for the Atascadero High School Swimming Pool Replacement Project. The Project consists of demolition of the existing pool, built in 1965, and replacement with a new pool. The new pool’s optimal dimensions will more than double the size of the existing pool to 25 yards wide x 35 meters long and will be capable of accommodating water polo activities. Two lanes will be 4 feet deep and the remaining lanes will be 8 feet deep to accommodate water polo activities. The facility will include a surrounding deck, team staging area, bleachers, storage building and maintenance/mechanical building. The Architect will also assist in site selection at the High School campus based on methodical assessment and with specific deliverables. On October 4, 2022, the Atascadero Unified School District Board of Trustees selected a general contractor and entered into a lease-lease back agreement for the pool replacement project.
