As of April 13, 2020 project was awarded to Cherokee Pride amount of $447,487.50. We anticipate the project to begin within 2 months. Washington and Aspen Intersection ImprovementsThe project consists of approximately 4,100 SY full depth pavement reconstruction, approximately 19,500 SY of asphalt mill and overlay, approximately 2,000 SY of ACC patching, approximately 1,700 LF of waterlines, and concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveways, and traffic signalization work. Sworn statement of the Bidder's assets and liabilities, technical qualifications and performance in the form of the latest annual report and financial statement are not required to be submitted with the Bidder's Proposal, but the City may require such statements prior to award of the construction contract. A Bidder's Surety Bond, irrevocable letter or credit or a cashier's or properly certified check upon a bank or trust company must accompany each Proposal for an amount equal to approximately five percent (5%) of the total Bid made payable, without reserve, to the City of Broken Arrow. The successful Bidder must, within ten (10) days after receiving notice of award, furnish a Performance Bond, Statutory Bond and Maintenance Bond in the forms prescribed by the City in the amounts equal to the Contract price. The City of Broken Arrow reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. Project will be awarded to the responsible Bidder with the lowest base bid or lowest combined base and additive alternate bids, if any, which is most advantageous to the City. Applicable additive alternates, if any, will be determined at the City's discretion. The lowest responsible Bidder will be notified within ten (10) working days of the Bid opening as to when this Public Construction Contract will be placed on the City Council Agenda for consideration.
