This project is included in the County of Marion's fiscal years 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of January 12, 2024, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. A firm timeline for construction has not been established; however, funding is allotted to fiscal year 2024. A detailed scope has not yet been released. This project includes the construction of new office space and a courtroom on the vacant 4th floor of the Judicial Center. Nearly 25,000 square feet of shelled space is available for construction. The State Attorney's Office has reached its capacity on the fifth floor of the judicial center. The SAO is requesting to expand part of the fourth floor to accommodate their needs.
