Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Jefferson, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of 04/15/2020 This was awarded to RR Walton & Company. The contract amount was $316,790.79. Anticipated start date is early May. South Marshall Avenue, North Elizabeth Avenue, East Milwaukee Street, Wildwood Court & Glenwood Court - The contract consists of the following approximate quantities: storm sewer (70 lineal feet), 6 and 8-inch water main (1,700 lineal feet), 30-inch concrete curb & gutter spot replacement (500 lineal feet), 4-inch and 6-inch concrete sidewalk (3,300 square feet), pulverizing asphalt pavement (7,200 square yards) and hot-mix asphalt pavement (1,500 tons). Bidders must be pre-qualified with the City of Jefferson within the last year or must be pre-qualified for this work 5 days prior to the bid deadline in accordance with Section 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Each bidder must deposit, with his bid, security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bidders must be experienced in municipal pipeline and street construction. The City of Jefferson and Jefferson Utilities reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in any bid. Portions of this project are funded through a Local Road Improvements grant from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
