Owner will select the most advantageous proposal by Competitive Sealed Proposals for a new 2.0-mgd conventional surface water treatment plant, complete and commissioned as described in the Contract Documents. Project includes; raw water pump station, high service pump station, flocculation and sedimentation basins and equipment, rapid sand filters with stainless steel underdrains and air scour systems, chemical feed systems in a separate chemical storage building, laboratory and office spaces, two steel clearwells with baffles, two plastic-lined sludge lagoons, recycle lift station, interconnecting piping and controls, gravel paving, Pre-selected Process Control Systems Integrator, all associated appurtenances, and miscellaneous surface restoration for successful project completion. Additive alternates, budget allowing, include standby engine generator system; solids handling system (gravity thickener, sludge pump, polymer feed and plastic block dewatering beds); pre-engineered metal maintenance building on concrete slab; reinforced concrete lining and access ramp into sludge lagoons.
