Site work and paving for a civil project in Sedalia, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

**As of June 22, 2022, project was awarded to Capital Paving & Construction LLC, awarded amount is $3,408,098.93.** **As of June 1, 2022 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on mid-June.** The proposed work includes: Realignment and widening roadwork of Cedar Drive from Reine Avenue to Route HH, widening Route HH from Cedar Drive north approximately 0.5 mile and reconfiguring the intersection of Route HH, Gentry and Cedar Drive. This work will include construction of existing pavement removal, grading, excavation, embankment in place, storm structures, private entrances, fences and appurtenances. All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid at a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (State Wage Rate). Pettis County Commission hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award." Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on public works project provide a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. A certified or cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. Pettis County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The DBE Goal for this project is 0%. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project.
