Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Tomahawk, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Parkland County is seeking Quotations from qualified general Contractors for the Tomahawk Lagoon Upgrade Project in the Hamlet of Tomahawk, Alberta. The Tomahawk Lagoon was constructed in 1966 and is operated by the County. The existing wastewater treatment system consists of a gravity trunk sewer line that conveys sewage from the Hamlet to the sewage lagoon facility. The existing sewage lagoon consists of a single cell. The original construction as-builts of the lagoon can be found in Appendix J Section 00 30 00. The work involves the rehabilitation of the existing sewage lagoon; scope includes, but is not limited to: removal of vegetation and trees from project site culvert works earthworks removal of existing geo-tube off-site removal of residual sludge from lagoon. Note the lagoon will be desludged in spring 2023.
