County Commissioners of the County of Ward, North Dakota, will receive sealed bids for Pavement Marking of approximately 284.4 Miles of County Roads. All bids must be submitted, and all work shall be done in full compliance with the approved plans and specifications for road and bridge construction now on file in the Office of the Ward County Engineer. The work consists of the following approximate quantities: 762; 1104 Pvmt MK Painted 4IN Line (Centerline); LF 994,241 762; 1105 Pvmt MK Painted 4IN Line (Truck Lane); LF 678 762; 1108 Pvmt MK Painted 8IN Line; LF 200 All bids are to be submitted on the basis of cash payment for the work and materials, electronic bidding, ac- companied by a bidder's bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the to- tal bid, executed by the bidder as principal, and by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of North Dakota, as a guaran- tee that the bidder will do business in the State of North Dakota, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract for performance of such work in case the contract is awarded to him. All bid security shall comply with Section 11-11-28 and amendments thereto of the North Dakota Century Code. In the event NDCC Section 11-11-28 is deemed not to be applicable as a matter of law, then in the alternative, the Ward County Commission applies its discretionary power to apply NDCC Section 11-11-28 and all bid security shall comply fully. All bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bids, as provided by Section 3-07-05 of the North Dakota Century Code. The Contractor shall give (10) days' notice prior to starting any construction work and shall complete the project no later than July 1st, 2020. The County Commissioners of Ward County reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities and to hold bids for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of opening
