Installation of pavement markings on Parkways, Roadways and Parking Lots of the Department of Conservation and Recreation. This operation will call for 2 or more truck mounted striping units of painting a minimum of twelve miles of pavement making (paint of thermoplastic) a day. Locations: (Statewide) - Barnstable, Berkshire, Bristol, Dukes, Essex, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire, Middlesex, Nantucket, Norfolk, Plymouth, Suffolk, and Worcester Counties. The project consists of installation of pavement markings on Parkways, Roadways and Parking Lots of the Department of Conservation and Recreation. The operation will call for two or more truck mounted striping units capable of painting a minimum of twelve miles of pavement markings (paint or thermoplastic) a day and be capable of painting two different color applications (yellow and white) at the same time in one single day, weather permitting. Two or more trucks will be in operation each working day weather permitting, contractor's operation shall be flexible to permit work on short notice and have plant facilities close to the DCR road system to enable work to be done on short notice, weather permitting.
