The work includes construction of new 4 to 5-foot wide sidewalk along the southside of San Diego Mission Road from Fairmount Avenue to the San Diego Mission Road Overcrossing of the San Diego River. This also includes the installation of new pedestrian curb ramps, driveway apron, and curb and gutter within the sidewalk limit. In addition, there will be slurry seal and restriping of San Diego Mission Road between Rancho Mission Road and Fairmount Avenue to create a new buffered bike lane. The location of the Work is as follows:San Diego Mission Rd, from the intersection of San Diego Mission Rd and Fairmount Ave tothe intersection of San Diego Mission Rd and Rancho Mission Rd. Subcontracting participation percentagesapply to this contract. The City has incorporated mandatory SLBE-ELBE subcontractor participation percentages to enhance competition and maximize subcontracting opportunities. For the purpose of achieving the mandatory subcontractor participation percentages, a recommended breakdown of the SLBE and ELBE subcontractor participation percentages based upon certified SLBE and ELBE firms has also been provided to achieve the mandatory subcontractor participation percentages:1.
