Renovation of an educational facility in Portland, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The portable classrooms roof at Beaumont Middle School is to be removed and replaced with a new built up roof. PPS has tested the roof and it did test positive for asbestos in both the built up roofing layers and the patch and repair areas. Therefore, Portland Public Schools will conduct a full abatement of the roofing material prior to the beginning of this project. It is our goal to begin the abatement immediately after students are released for the summer and have the project available for the new roof on June 22, 2020.
