**As of August 12, 2022, project was awarded to W. W. Payton Corporation. Contract Amount: $4,462,000 (Base Bid, Supplementary Bid and Alternates 1, 2, and 4) 5% Contingency: $ 223,100 Total Amount: $4,685,100** All bids must be accompanied by proposal guaranty in the form of a Certified or Cashier's Check, or Bidders Bond drawn to the order of the City of Alvin, and in the minimum amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after receipt of bids except with the approval of the City of Alvin. The City of Alvin reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid from any responsible person which will be most advantageous to it and results in the best and most economical completion of the proposed improvements, facilities, works, equipment and appliances.
