Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Plankinton, South Dakota. Working plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Project generally involves the following work: Replacement of existing pony truss bridge with a 2 span 130'-0" prestressed concrete girder bridge. Work includes but is not limited to: bridge removal, excavation, pile driving, riprap placement, concrete placement, girder placement, deck placement, rail installation, grading and erosion control. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, and shall include all applicable taxes, as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Civil Design Inc., Attn: Chris Brozik, PE, 609 Main Avenue South, Brookings, SD, 57006, (605) 696-3200. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents may be viewed online by registering with the Issuing Office. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.
