Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Juneau, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work for which bids are asked includes the following: 1,400 LF of 12"-24" diameter RCP storm sewer (with HDPE alternate); 10 EA precast concrete storm sewer structures; 2,700 LF of concrete curb/gutter; 18,000 SF of concrete sidewalk and driveway apron; 5,000 SY of 4" asphalt pavement; 8,000 TON of crushed aggregate base; 3,000 SY of topsoil and seeding; 3 EA fire hydrant replacements; along with epoxy pavement marking, signing, erosion control, traffic control, site grading/earthwork, clearing/grubbing, sanitary sewer and water utility structure adjustments, cleanup and related miscellaneous construction. Additional Description: No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. BIDDER is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within the 72 hours of bid opening to MSA Professional Services, Inc., Attn: Michael J. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates. This project anticipates the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funding.
