For 1,000,000 Gallon Fluted Column (Tank 5) Exterior Overcoat Wet Interior Repaint and Miscellaneous Repairs The work includes: Exterior: High pressure water clean (5,000 to 10,000 psi), spot power tool clean to a SSPCSP11 standard, and apply a three (3) coat epoxy urethane fluoropolymer system. Wet Interior: Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP10 near-white metal standard and apply a three (3) coat zinc epoxy system. Pit Piping: Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP6 commercial standard and apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. Foundation: Water clean and apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. Repairs: 1) Replace manway gaskets. 2) Install gasket on the wet interior roof hatch. 3) Install hinges on the platform opening cover. 4) Overflow discharge modification. 5) Replace condensate drain line. 6) Remove four flow-through vents. 7) Install roof painter's rail. 8) Install a swing gate at the top platform opening. 9) Replace dry interior and aviation light bulbs.
