This notice is a tool to identify small businesses that have both the technical expertise and bonding capability to accomplish the work required for NGWSP PP 4 & 7 and is for informational purposes only. Information obtained through this notice may be used to determine the potential for issuing a future solicitation for this project as a total small business set-aside, and to provide input for the Government's overall acquisition strategy. The NGWSP is a major infrastructure project that once constructed, will convey a reliable municipal and industrial water supply from the San Juan River to the eastern section of the Navajo Nation, southwestern portion of the Jicarilla Apache Nation, and the city of Gallup, New Mexico via about 300 miles of pipeline, 19 pumping plants, and two water treatment plants. The PP 4 site is located approximately 47 miles north of Gallup, NM in San Juan County. The PP 7 site is located approximately 15 miles north of Gallup, NM in McKinley County. All work is on Navajo Tribal Trust land. This is NOT a Request for Proposals or an Invitation for Bids and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. The NAICS code for this project is 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction, with a small business size standard of $39.5 million. The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region, Four Corners Construction Office, has a requirement for construction work on PP 4 & 7 of the San Juan Lateral portion of the NGWSP.
