This solicitation is for the GC component of the work, which is briefly described below, and fully described in Exhibit 1/1A, Exhibit 2, and Exhibit 3/3A of the projects contract agreement. WCPSS has purchased 8 former residential sites around the Swift Creek ES and intends to prepare the properties for future use. The project will remove the structures and their associated components to achieve this goal. In general, and in compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations, all hazards will be remediated and the structures removed, utilities disconnected, wells abandoned, wastewater systems removed, Above/Below ground storage tanks removed, and the disturbed areas improved with ground cover. A more expanded listing of the GC scope can be found at Exhibits 1/1A, 2, and 3/3A to the Owner-Contractor Agreement. Bidding Documents include this Invitation to Bid and the following attached forms: Exhibits 1/1A, 2, and 3/3A, sample Owner-Contractor Agreement, School Access Requirements, Bid Response, Sales Tax Form, SORCC Form, and Board of Education Policies (Nos. 2302, 2305, 2306, 2307, 2308, 2321, 3012, and 8361). All requirements and obligations of the Bidding Documents are hereby incorporated by reference into the Contract Documents and are binding on the Successful Bidder upon award of the contract. Each Bidder by submitting their Bid represents that they have read and understands the Bidding Documents and their Bid is made in accordance therewith; and Bidder agrees to be bound by the terms and requirements set forth in the Bidding and Contract Documents; that they have visited the site, has familiarized themselves with the local conditions under which the Work is to be performed, and has correlated their observations with the requirements of the proposed Contract Documents.
