081-292, Hutchinson, McCook & Turner Counties - PCN I5XE Spot Cold Milling & Spot Asphalt Concrete Resurfacing of Shoulders on US81 from Freeman North to SD42 (MRM 35.2 to MRM 49.3). If You Submit a Bid for This Project, a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bank Draft Will Be Required for Not Less Than Five (5) Percent of the Total Amount of the Bid. Prequalification of bidders is not required on this contract. The successful bidder will furnish a performance bond in a sum equal to the full amount of the contract, prior to contract award. Therefore, please provide the performance bond as soon as possible after letting. The performance bond will not be returned for one (1) year after the completion of the project. The SDDOT reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The Contractor and each related subcontractor will maintain payrolls and basic records relating thereto during the course of the work and preserve these records for a period of three (3) years from the date of completion of the contract for all laborers, mechanics, apprentices, trainees, watchmen, and guards working at the site of the work.
