The Town of Wethersfield has been awarded Local Transportation Capital Improvement Program (LOTCIP) funds from the CT Department of Transportation through the Capitol Region Council of Governments and State Grant-in-Aid funds from the Department of Economic and Community Development. The funds are to be used for construction, contingencies, construction administration and inspection, record keeping and materials testing. In general, this contract is for the complete removal of a concrete road base and full-depth reconstruction of the road structure, installation of granite curb, concrete bus pads, sidewalk, sidewalk ramps and crosswalks, pedestrian signal upgrades, minor minor drainage improvements and installation of new streetlight poles and LED fixtures throughout the project area.
