A timeline for the award is not yet determined.** The Dormitory Authority State of New York (DASNY) is Soliciting the services of a General Contractor for the Ingersoll, Boylan & Roosevelt Hall Cornice Restoration at Brooklyn College. The Scope of work is for Cornice Repair at Ingersoll, Boylan & Roosevelt Hall. Scope: Flashing repair at cornice Spalled/Cracked brick replacement. The Contractor should be able to show references from Projects of similar scope and size. The contractor will also need to provide staging and safety implementation plans. Further qualifications, bonding, and insurance requirements, are stated in the contract documents. The bidder or its principals must have completed five (5) contracts of relatively similar size, scope and complexity within the last five (5) years or demonstrated an increasing ability to successfully complete contracts of incrementally larger size and scope within the last five (5) years. The Contractor should be able to show references from Projects of similar scope and size. The contractor will also need to provide staging and safety implementation plans. Further qualifications, bonding, and insurance requirements, are stated in the contract documents The Contractor shall have a minimum of 10 years successful experience in the work described above. The contractor must also provide a list showing a minimum of five (5) successfully completed projects similar in dollar amount, and complexity within the last ten (10) years.The successful low bidder will agree to enter a PLA agreement.Contract Security, EEO/AA Insurance, NY State Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire (Executive Order 125). In accordance with State Finance Law 139-j and 139-k, this solicitation includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between Dormitory Authority personnel and an Offerer during the procurement process. Contacts made to other Dormitory Authority personnel regarding this procurement may disqualify the Offerer and affect future procurements with governmental entities in the State of New York.
