Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bend, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Bend intends to collaborate with OSU-Cascades and Bend Parks and Recreation District to fund construction of two roundabouts: one at SW Columbia Street and SW Colorado Avenue (Columbia/Colorado) and one at SW Columbia Street and SW Simpson Avenue (Columbia/Simpson). The intent of this project is to build the Columbia/Colorado roundabout and, at the City's option, the Columbia/Simpson roundabout. Any work on the Columbia/Simpson project is contingent upon the partner agencies agreeing on the price to construct and a funding commitment for the cost. In order to meet project goals, the Design-Build method has been selected to procure and deliver the project.
